The Weekend

What all did you do this past weekend? Go to the game in Moultrie? Go to church? I just went to the game Friday night and Saturday and Sunday i was working.

Sleep

How late do you typically stay up? Can you tell a difference in your school work when you go to bed early or stay up extremely late? Explain. I usually go to sleep around 1 in the morning because i have to go to work and after i get home from work i take a shower and then i do my homework.

Legal Drinking Age

Channel One has recently been talking about the push by some to change the legal drinking age. Should it be changed from 21 to 18? Why or why not? Pros and cons to the change? It should stay at 21 because i would not like to see my children to get in a car crash because of drinking and driving.

Last week's College & Career Speaker

What was your overall impression of the speaker? Did you enjoy the presentation? Do you think the speaker's presentation will aid you in your post secondary (college, tech, trade school, military, etc.) and career choices? What didn't you like about the presentation? Should Ms. Gay continue having speakers come into our class? My overall impression of the speaker was good. I did enjoy the presentation. I don't think it will aid me because i already know what my career is going to be. Yes, Ms. Gay should continue to have other speakers come to our class because when do they come, we don't do any work.

How would you handle being constantly followed by someone? Would you welcome or resent the protection? I would not like to be followed by somebody, especially if is by somebody that i did not know. I would not need protection because i can take care of my self.

Dog dials 911

Do you have a pet you think could accomplish this? I do not think my dog would be able to dial 911. He might be able to go next door and get the peoples attention.

Homecoming 2008

What was your experience? If you're a Junior or Senior, how did this year compare to last year? Did you go to the parade, game, or dance? I did not go to homecoming because why would i spend my money on a ticket to dance at the school and the teacher telling me that I'm to close my dance partner. That is a waste of money. I gather go to the club in Valdosta where i can dance how i want to dance without someone telling me how to dance. I did go to the game and it was OK. i mean the game wasn't all that great because the team we played was a 3A and we didn't do all that great in the 1st half.

Abandoned Baby

What are your thoughts on this article? Why do you think the mother did this? Why would a mother do this to a new born baby? That women should go to jail for doing something that horrible. How can people do that to their own child? A child that was inside of her for 9 months and then she will just leave that baby in the toilet.

Sick Days

If you haven't heard, your teachers will no longer be able to call in a sub due to budget issues at the Board of Education. Instead, the teachers that are at school will have to cover a teacher's class when a teacher is absent. How do you think this will affect your teachers and you? I think that it will affect the teacher because the teacher will have no planning time.
